Chronic Pain Management Program

Research shows that single treatment modalities are usually ineffective in helping the chronic pain sufferer. Our program is a combination of non-invasive, drugless approach, and is delivered in four phases:



Phase1
Weeks 1- 4: Pain Cycle and Insomnia Breakage


Using pain Physical Therapy (PT) modalities such as Electrotherapy, Thermal-therapy, Laser, Ultrasound, Spinal Manipulative Therapy (SMT) and Acupuncture for pain control. In addition, Hydrotherapy and Sauna (ladies only) for detoxification and relaxation, and Massage therapy for insomnia.



Phase 2
Weeks 5-8: Inflammation Reduction and Pain Trigger Elimination


Homeopathic supplements for pain management, as well as education on a proper anti-inflammatory diet to eliminate pain triggers. Joint mobilization, Soft Tissue Therapy (STT) and Exercise will also be added in this phase.



Phase 3
Week 9-12: Maintenance and Promoting Wellness


Passive components of treatment are gradually reduced as active participation of patient is encouraged. Specific and general exercises along with aerobic conditioning are of emphasis in this phase. Education on how to prevent future flare ups and proper pain management techniques is added.



Phase 4
Week 13-24, Healthy lifestyle (Gym Membership)


In this phase Health risk assessment, Nutritional analysis, education to promote healthy lifestyle is given. Participating in group exercise programs, two to three sessions per week, followed by a self-directed exercise program.
